Part of a street is closed in the Pitt County town of Winterville because of a water main break.

Part of a street is closed in the Pitt County town of Winterville because of a water main break.
The 6-inch main broke in the vicinity of Jones and Hammond Street, and that area will be closed until further notice.
Officials say water has been restored in the area, but additional work will need to be done after the weather clears.
