Wayne County Schools Dismissal/Program Cancellation Information
Several schools are dismissing early and programs are cancelled.

From Wayne County Schools:
Due to inclement weather and the threat of high winds this evening, all after school programs scheduled after 4:30 p.m. will be cancelled. The scheduled Raising Achievement and Closing Gap Information Session/Kitchen Table Conversation scheduled for this evening in Mount Olive has also been postponed until further notice.
The following schools will dismiss 30 minutes early: Carver Heights Elementary, Dillard Middle, Goldsboro High, North Drive Elementary, School Street Elementary, and Wayne Academy. This will ensure shared buses are available for the Wayne School of Engineering to dismiss at 3:30 p.m. and the Wayne Early/Middle College High School to dismiss at 3:45 p.m.
