Good luck Washington. You are going to need it. Not a good 'ole boy? Give me a break. He is an original!

Congratulations to Mr. Archie Jennings. Mrs. Jennette has done anything but give Washington the progress it needs. She is only out for herself, and her stuck-up "friends."

The 1st question artists ask when scheduled to perform at the Turnage is "What hotels and restaurants are in town?" They come from all over the country and we say – “The Holiday or Comfort Inns.” There are empty buildings all over downtown that should be torn down and replaced with a medium size hotel and we would all have the same view we currently have of the river. Have you ever noticed what the 1st impression of the "Historical District" is? It begins and Bridge and 2nd - vacant biz, Pest Control biz, a tattoo parlor, dilapidated houses and a 10 ft chain link fence surrounding an empty lot. Folks move here because of the river and the towns potential, not because of those that were just fortunate enough to be born here and their attitudes toward new ideas and progress. This area will stay designated as a Tier 1 County for a long, long time – poor quality of life, under educated, poor infrastructure, lacking in basic services and economically distressed. Nothing changed on 11/3
