A freeze watch is in effect from late tonight through Friday morning.
As a cold front moves offshore, cold air is seeping into our area. The high pressure will extend into Eastern Carolina tonight, and temperatures inland from the Coast are expected to drop to around freezing by midnight.
Crops and other sensitive vegetation could be damaged or killed by the freeze.
