Church Hit By Arson Prepares For Easter

One of the Greenville churches targeted by arsonists in January is preparing for Easter.

Although The Memorial Baptist Church has been operating in temporary quarters, members say their goal is to hold an Easter service on their home grounds.

Minister of Music Walter Byrum says the community came together to support the church and to bring them back to the point where the congregation will be able to worship again at their church.

Byrum says the church has scheduled a covered dish breakfast on Easter morning, followed by a worship service.
