The canned dog food Mary Alice Noble fed one of her dogs was not on the list of dog foods recalled by manufacturer menu foods. Noble fed her five-year-old rottweiler premium dog food with beef, savory cuts in meaty gravy manufactured by Menu Foods, who issued the recall of nearly one hundred brands of dog and cat food on March 16. Noble, who is a nurse, says during her dog's last days, "Biscuit" showed "textbook" symptoms of kidney failure. She did report the case to Menu Foods who took her name and number and said someone from the company would be in touch. At least sixteen animals have died, their deaths believed to be connected to rat poison found in some menu food products.
