Smoking In Bed, Man Sets House On Fire
Authorities in Kinston say the man was burned on his face.

It's not the smoking hazard you normally hear about, but fire officials say a man burned his face after his bed linens caught his house on fire.
The Kinston Fire Department says they got the call to 1503 West Washington around 9:30 p.m. Monday night. A man smoking in his bedroom caught his bed linens on fire, officials say.
The man was able to throw the sheets out the window but burned his face. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities say there's smoke damage throughout the house, but the
fire damage is contained to the bedroom.

dummy shouldnt have been smoking in bed in the first place..................he got lucky he is still alive to talk about it all........................

So...are we supposed to feel sorry for him? I mean...he made the choice himself to smoke in his BED. #1, thats disgusting, #2, no one forced him to do it. Sorry about his face but hey....if you think you HAVE to smoke, do it outside at least.

had he been passed out drunk,he would have died!!who did he hurt (himself)had he been drunk and gotten into a car wreck,who would have gotten hurt???Alcohol can be advertised and sold at bar's,but you can't smoke(Americans) go figure!!!China is sending people over here to get educated on how to grow tobacco,wonder why?Our # one cash crop will now be sold to us from where (China)!!And the stupid american people that was telling this,acted like it was such an honor to do this for China!All of our sewing factories are gone ,now there working on our crops,I would say wake up america,but it's to late,just keep sleeping!!!!
