Another Arizona Arrest In Rocky Mount Teen Murder Case
A fifth person has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Rocky Mount teenager last month.

A fifth person has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Rocky Mount teenager last month.
Juan Simmons, of Rocky Mount, was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona. The 33-year-old woman is charged with accessory after the fact for murder and accessory after the fact for arson.
Two suspects in the September 4th death of Chavalis Boyd were found last weekend in Phoenix as well.
Boyd's body was found in a burned out home on Silver Leaf Road. The 17-year-old had been shot.
Police say Simmons is jailed in Arizona, awaiting her return to North Carolina to race charges.
Already three men have been charged with the actual murder of Boyd, while another woman was also charged with being an accessory.

The third suspect in the murder of a Rocky Mount teen is now under arrest.
Police say Corey Lee was arrested Wednesday morning as a result of information from Crimestoppers. He was arrested at a home on Privette Hedge Road.
Lee is charged with first degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and first degree burglary.
Firefighters found the body of Chavalis Boyd in a burned out home on Silver Leaf Road back on September 4th. The 17-year-old had been shot.
Two other suspects in the murder were recently arrested in Phoenix, Arizona.

Police say a second murder suspect from Eastern Carolina has been caught in Arizona.
Brian Carney is one of three men wanted for the September 4th murder of Chavalis Boyd of Rocky Mount. He was arrested this weekend in Phoenix. The 17-year-old Boyd was found dead in his burned out home on Silver Leaf Road. Police say he had been shot.
Last week police say Nathan Jones was also arrested in Phoenix. They are still searching for Corey Lee in connection with Boyd's murder.

Nathan Jones, of Raleigh, was arrested by Phoenix police Friday morning. He is charged with first degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and first degree burglary.
Rocky Mount police say Chavalis Boyd was shot & killed and then his home on Silver Leaf Road was set on fire back on September 4th.
Police are still looking for Brian Carney and Corey Lee, both of Rocky Mount, for Boyd's death. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that directly leads to their arrests.
