New Entrance Proposed For Camp Lejeune
The proposal for a new entrance to Camp Lejeune goes before the people Thursday night.

Overnight repairs will continue on Highway 24 near the front gate to Camp Lejeune. Thursday night, the proposal for a new entrance to Camp Lejeune goes before the people.
An informational workshop will take place at the Jacksonville City Hall from 4 to 7 PM. Citizens are invited to drop in and speak to Camp Lejeune and DOT officials. There is a proposal to build a new base entry near Bell Fork Road and Highway 24.
If approved, construction would begin in 2012.
