Community College System President To Retire

The president of the state community
college system says he'll retire in May 2008.
Martin Lancaster has led the 58-campus system since 1997.
Growth and increasing responsibility to retrain workers who lost
jobs in traditional manufacturing fields marked his decade as
president.
Lancaster is a former congressman and head of the U-S Army Corps
of Engineers.
The community college board will choose his replacement.
