Possible changes to advanced placement courses in Pitt County schools are on hold for current students. Last week, we told you about how some students at J.H. Rose High School in Greenville, were concerned some of the required courses that counted towards graduation credit, would become electives. School officials now say those changes will not take effect for current students, only freshmen starting next fall. The superintendent says more study and dialogue on the subject is needed.
