A North Carolina county has broken ground on a nearly $19 million reverse osmosis plant that is expected to start pumping fresh water late next year.
The Daily Advance of Elizabeth City reported Tuesday that the plant in Pasquotank County in northeastern North Carolina will provide water to the county and in neighboring Elizabeth City and Perquimans County.
The plant will start pumping about one-million-gallons-per-day, but can be expanded to five-million-gallons-per-day later.

The only countries that need or can afford reverse osmosis are Arab countries. Since we spend so much money on their oil, and they have shortage of water supplies. Another govmnt way to spend tax dollars. Simply awesome.

And what government Agency was it that provided the grant money for this project. We should be told so we will know whom to thank. Or is it that we are simply entitled to this government largess??
