Firefighters from two counties battled a house fire Wednesday morning that destroyed a Martin County home.

Firefighters from two counties battled a house fire Wednesday morning that destroyed a Martin County home.
The fire in Parmele was called in around 8:40 a.m. Firefighters say no one was at the Church Street home when the blaze broke out.
Volunteers from Robersonville and Bethel were called to the fire and there were no injuries. Right now there's no word on a cause of the fire.
