Man Arrested For Sex Offense With A Child
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office arrested David Laughman of Memory Lane in Chocowinity for first degree sex offense with a child, indecent liberties and sex offense in a parental role.

A 39 year old man is locked up for first degree sex offense with a child.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office arrested David Laughman of Memory Lane in Chocowinity for first degree sex offense with a child, indecent liberties and sex offense in a parental role.
The incident reportedly took place in June. He was put in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a 100-thousand dollar bond.

Before anyone makes any premature judgment in this matter,take it from someone who has been on the inside of the judicial system for many many years....this man may deserve the book thrown at him,BUT he may also be totally innocent....Just because charges are brought does NOT make him guilty....I've seen lives ruined because of the investigative techniques of Dept of Social Services...I've seen DSS employees who were supposed to be "investigators" later charged with crimes themselves...I've seen children coerced by so-called "investigators" and other adults who have their own agenda,into making false accusations against others...I'm not saying this defendant is guilty or not....if he is not,then his life is already ruined by the accusations and if he is guilty,then lock him up and throw away the key....But sooner or later the truth comes out,so have patience,people,and do not pass judgment without knowing all the facts. The system does NOT always work.

I believe it, you'd be surprise at the so called good people that do bad things. I'm sure his friends are pulling for him, but ask your kids about what they think of him and you may be SURPRISE. Kids know more then adults do.

I hope the judicial system does him justice guilty or innoence, but whatevr his name is ruined forever
