Ch Detectives in Davidson County have uncovered a meth lab inside a home where two children lived.
The sheriff's office says after it received an anonymous tip, detectives went to the house and found suspicious materials and two children, ages 3 and 11. The children were taken to Thomasville Medical Center for a health check, treated and released.
When narcotic detectives returned to the house with a search warrant, they found evidence of a small methamphetamine operation they called a "suitcase lab" in the woods and parts of the house.
One of the residents, identified as 25-year-old Danny Charles Dockery, is charged with child endangerment, manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of precursor chemical, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
Dockery is being held under a 100-thousand dollar secured bond.
