As you'll recall, Pitt County announced such limitations last week. Now Beaufort County Hospital in Washington is doing the same. Visitors will be limited to two immediate family members over the age of 12, per patient. Hospital officials request that children younger than 12 only be brought to the hospital if they need medical treatment. Visitors may be asked several health-related questions before they are allowed to see a patient. Folks at Beaufort County Hospital feel the increase in illness will be temporary, but want to make sure they limit the exposure to their patients.
