Nearly 100 people turned out for the service at Devotional Gardens Cemetary in Warsaw. Songs, prayers and a sermon by a local pastor were part of Monday's burial service for a baby the community is calling baby Doe. The baby's body was found on a doorstep on East Chelly Street earlier this month. Officials believe he was seven days old when he was abandoned. Warsaw Police say they have had a flood of calls into the station regarding the infant, and many leads, but there is still no sign of the mother. On Friday, a funeral was held in Nash County for a murdered newborn found in a dumpster in Rocky Mount that same week.
