A kitten with a touching story of survival is now up for adoption in Kitty Hawk.
Volunteers with Feline Hope, an animal shelter on the Outer Banks, says someone threw the kitten off the Wright Memorial Bridge on Saturday.
Unbelievably a driver spotted it hanging onto the bridge's railing and managed to rescue the cat after three-tries.
Feline Hope has named it "Bridge" and wants to find him a home. The organization will have a booth set up at Kitty Hawk Heritage Days this Saturday, where they'll have cats up for adoption for free.
