It’s probation for a 25-year-old military wife from Jacksonville in the so-called “McMissile” case, but an outstanding warrant from Mississippi is keeping her in jail. Jessica Hall could have been sentenced to two years for throwing a cup of ice into a car that cut her off on Interstate 95 in Virginia last year. Hall’s three young children were in the car at the time of the incident. But Wednesday, a judge in Stafford, Virginia cited her lack of criminal record, saying her two months in jail were enough and instead placed her on probation for the felony conviction. Now, reports indicate Hall is facing a warrant for writing bad checks in Mississippi, so she can’t get out of jail until those are cleared. Hall’s husband is in Iraq serving in the military.
