A couple has pleaded guilty to killing two friends a decade ago and burying the bodies under their farmhouse near Selma.
Robert Bruce Pollard will spend eight to ten years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Cesar Ruvalcava Ortiz.
Pollard's wife, Cecilia Louise Pollard, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the death of Robin Leigh Clark, her aunt who was romantically involved with Ruvalcava Ortiz.
The Pollards also pleaded guilty to helping each other hide the deaths.
Clark and Ruvalcava Ortiz had been staying with the Pollards but were about to move out when they went missing in 1997. Their bodies were found last year when police acted on a tip and searched the farm. The Pollards were later charged with the murders.
