Insurance Agent Failed To Pay Taxes And Heads To Jail

An insurance agent from Eastern Carolina is sentenced to prison and must pay more than $135,000 to the IRS. Officials say Ted Pinner from Nashville in Nash County, a self-employed insurance agent, had an income ranging from $140,000 to $249,000 in the years 2000-2003 and did not file tax returns. Pinner was sentenced to 12 months and a day behind bars.
