A federal judge has ruled that a mother who allegedly kidnapped her biological children in December should stay in jail.
Allison Quets had asked to be released while she awaits trial on international parental kidnapping charges.
A court filing released by prosecutors says Quets remains obsessed with regaining control of the kids.
Quets is accused of kidnapping her 17-month-old twins from their adoptive parents in Apex and fleeing to Canada.
Last month, a federal magistrate ordered Quets detained. The 49-year-old from Orlando, Florida, had appealed to a U-S District Court judge.
Prosecutors have said Quets planned the abduction for months.
