A man is facing charges this morning after deputies say he broke into a house and assaulted his ex-girlfriend.
The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says Kelvis Pitts was arrested after the break in on Will Richardson Road in the Enfield Area. Deputies say Pitts assaulted the woman Tuesday, and then she locked him out. Authorities say he broke a window to get back in, and then beat the woman some more.
The 28 year-old is being held in jail without bond.

This is crazy but eye awakening. I am glad that for her sake he only assaulted her. My bestfriend ex felt that if he couldn't have her no one was, broke into her house and killed her. You can't control people's actions because they are going to do what they want to do, but you can at least do something to make a difference instead of just talking junk. To all battered women out their call for help when you need it. Don't wait til the last minute! My bestfriend had a restraining order but the police dropped the ball...so to the police officiers, pay attention battered women are not calling for help just to be calling! HELP THEM!!!!

Lately all you hear is bad things from the town of Enfield. I guess nothing has changed at all with that town. I use to live there and now I am definitely glad that I moved away long time ago. No wonder the schools in that county are doing bad when you have people like this that the kids are looking up to.
