Soccer Tournament Helps Economy

Lots of green will flow into Pitt County this weekend and next thanks to the "Beast of the East Soccer Tournament." Kids age 16 and up from all over will head to Pitt County to play in the tournament which will be held at three different locations over the next two weekends. Officials with the Pitt County Convention and Visitors Bureau say they expect close to 1,000 people from out of town and that should pump about $200,000 back into the local economy.
