Authorities in Nash and Edgecombe Counties have captured a man wanted in connection with a Georgia murder. No one was seriously injured when Patrick Lynch was taken into custody early Thursday afternoon at a mobile home park. Lynch's capture culminated a search that started late Wednesday morning, spanned two counties and involved hundreds of law enforcement officers from almost a dozen agencies. Police from DeKalb County, Georgia issued warrants against Lynch on Thursday, charging him with the death of 30-year-old Kory Gore, who was found dead in his apartment on December 27. Lynch led North Carolina law enforcement on a chase before he ditched his car and ran off into a wooded area on Wednesday.
