Under President Bush's new war plan, 20,000 additional troops will soon be headed to Iraq and many of those from Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville.
In a city made up of more than 43,000 Marines, local businesses we talked to say when Marines from Camp Lejeune are deployed that's less money in their pockets.
From restaurants to barber shops, businesses owners say Marines are 25 to 90 percent of their business, which will be a big percentage of money lost when local Marines are deployed for duty.
For security purposes Camp Lejeune cannot say exactly how many Marines will be deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Troops will come from the 1st Battalion and 6th Marine Regiment.
