Postpartum depression. That's what 49 year-old Allison Quets says made her relinquish her rights to her twin children. Quets escaped to Canada with her 17-month old twins, Tyler and Holly, during an agreed visitation with the twins' North Carolina adoptive parents. Quets says she was under extreme pressure to give up her children and regretted her decision within hours. After a frantic search, Quets was found in Ottawa, Canada on December 29th. She is still appealing the adoption. We spoke with a postpartum depression specialist on the severity of the condition who says it affects one out of five women nationwide.
