Rocky Mount Funeral Director And Woman Indicted In Murder Case

A grand jury has indicted a Rocky Mount funeral director and a woman on charges of first-degree murder in the death of the director's wife. Mark Bowling and Rose Delores Vincent were indicted Monday by a Nash County Grand jury in connection with the December 8th slaying of Julie Bowling, who was shot to death in the garage of her home. Investigators say Bowling met Vincent eight years ago and they had a romantic relationship then, resuming it a year before Bowling's wife was killed. Assistant District Attorney Keith Werner says Bowling and Vincent are scheduled to appear in court on January 22nd. Bowling and Vincent could face the death penalty if convicted.
