"Operation Homelink"

Over 250 Marines in Jacksonville received an important piece of technology Tuesday... One that will link them to their families while they serve our country overseas. It's all part of "Operation Homelink," a non-profit organization that has teamed up with Dell Computers to give Marines serving in Iraq a means to communicate with their loved ones. These families otherwise, unable to afford these computers, would normally rely on letters to communicate... A lengthy process that will now be much faster. That's especially true for expecting mom, Amanda Bourassa, who's husband will miss the birth of his second child. Tuesday's donation at the USO was the largest ever by "Operation Homelink." They also hit a milestone, as they handed out their 2000th computer.
