Three Shootings In Just Four Days In Rocky Mount

The city has seen three shootings in only four days. Investigators with the Rocky Mount Police Department say the crimes are not connected. On Monday, a tow-truck operator was confronted by someone whose vehicle he was towing and shot. Wednesday, a man was shot then dumped in the woods, left to die and Thursday night a man was shot while being robbed. Officials say so far, suspects from the first attack are in custody and police have warrants for suspects in the second shooting. Officials say all three victims survived their attacks, though two remain hospitalized at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
