Two Craven County men made a gruesome discovery in the woods.
Skeletal remains. Investigators now have the task of figuring out who the bones belong to and how they got there. The woods are in the 3100 block of Old Cherry Point road in Craven County. Andrew Morris was one of the men who discovered the remains back in October. He and a friend thought it was a Halloween hoax. But when the two stumbled over the bones again recently, they realized it was was not a holiday joke. The Craven County Sheriff's Office is checking the remains against the county's five open missing persons cases.
