North Carolinians are getting in on that post-Christmas shoppting. Hundreds of shoppers are at the Target store in Apex this morning to take advantage of sale prices. The big attraction is the half-off sale on all holiday-related items, including wreaths, lights, stationery and bedding.
Josh Hefner and Nikki Jackson had filled up their cart about 20 minutes after the store opened at seven.
They plan to marry in July and say they're using gift cards they got Christmas Day to buy "pretty much everything" they need for next year's Christmas holiday.
Target executive leader Greg McElveen says that once the Chrimstas decorations are gone, the store will fill its holiday racks with Valentine Day's items.
