The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit arrested 5 people after a report they were using heroin in the Washington Walmart parking lot this week.

62-year-olds Samuel Wiggins of Belhaven and James Ross of Pantego, 55-year-old Silvia Gay of Greenville, and 32-year-olds Vivian Clark and Cecil Walker, both of Washington are all charged with Felony Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after deputies say a K-9 detected narcotics in their vehicle Wednesday, and heroin, used syringes and other drug paraphernalia were found.

Ross was out on bond stemming from a Trafficking in Opiates arrest by the Sheriff's Office just last month. Clark was also out on bond stemming from a Felony Flee to Elude charge by the Sheriff's Office in July 2012. All of them were taken to the Beaufort County Detention Center.
