Man Hospitalized After Hit By Car Thursday In New Bern
New Bern police responded are investigating an accident involving a pedestrian on Neuse Boulevard at 9:30 Thursday night.

New Bern police responded are investigating an accident involving a pedestrian on Neuse Boulevard at 9:30 Thursday night.
Police say 27-year-old Jimmie Wesley Boyd of New Bern, was crossing Neuse Boulevard near Dunkin Donuts, when he moved into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
Police say a 1998 Chrysler Cirrus traveling east on Neuse Boulevard toward downtown struck Boyd.
Boyd was flown to Pitt Memorial Hospital for treatment, where police say he remains in stable condition today.
The incident is still under investigation by members of the New Bern Police Department’s Traffic Enforcement Unit. No charges have been filed.
