If you're in downtown Washington over the holiday season, there's a beautiful window display sure to catch your eye. It's one made entirely out of natural fibers at the old Hotel Louise. Christmas items created from cotton, sweet gum, reeds, birch bark and pine needles. The Natural Fibers Group of Beaufort County created the display to add holiday cheer to the downtown area as well as promote their group. The Natural Fibers Group was formed about three years ago and has members from all over the country who share the love of nature, basket weaving, and the use of natural materials. The group also does displays at area festivals and visits to area schools.
