American Soldier Captured By Insurgents
An American soldier has been captured by insurgents in eastern Afghanistan.

An American soldier has been captured by insurgents in eastern Afghanistan. That's according to a U-S military spokeswoman, who says the soldier has been missing since Tuesday.
The soldier's name has not been released. The spokeswoman said the military was quote "using all our resources to find him and provide for his safe return."
The soldier was *not* taking part in a major military operation that's been launched in southern Afghanistan. Rright now, nearly four-thousand U-S Marines are going after insurgents against the Taliban in Afghanistan.
The lower Helmand River Valley is largely in the hands of the Taliban and the Marines said they'll stay in the area and "hold and build" security there.
One Marine officer said it was the largest Marine offensive since Vietnam...and the first offensive of President Obama's administration.

if you remember what happened to the soviet prisoners of the afghans during that conflict.. they homsexually raped the male soviet soldiers like crazy.. No one is thier right mind would surrender to these guys.. their islamic tradition is second to their local customs in most cases, and their local customs are sadistically brutal. I hope this guy is not getting the captured soviet treatment. This case is a example of why we should be following the advice of our FOUNDERS, not Neocons or Neoliberals like Bush/Obama.. If we had followed the advice of our FOUNDERS, and refused to involve ourselves in the soviet conflict in afghanistan.. their would have been no taliban, no 9/11, no 6 year trillion dollar 'freedom-spreading' war, NO OSAMA BIN LADEN... By letting a bunch of foreign lobbyists and globalists drag us into the soviet/afghan war to tip the balance in favor of BINLADEN, we now have brought about the LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES.. Tell that to the NeoCon/Libs
Sorry Dwayne, Bush let go over 400 "terrorists" from Gitmo from 2002-2008, I am sure Obama's handful mean nothing compared to those others.
