A New Bern man who had been missing since Thursday has now been found and returned to his family.
At around 12:30 Saturday morning, 93 year old Jake Hill, was picked up by Carteret County Sheriff's deputies off of the Cedar Hill Ferry. The operator recognized Mister Hill's car from local newscasts, and contacted the authorities. Hill has been taken to Craven Regional Medical Center. New Bern Police say he appears in good health, but very disoriented. They add it looks like he has been awake since his disappearance on Thursday.
