Storm Damage Reports
Storm damage is reported in several counties in Eastern Carolina. More than two thousand homes are without power.

Several thousand homes are without power after severe thunderstorms rumbled through Eastern Carolina Friday afternoon.

Progress Energy says there are 1,067 customers without power in Lenoir County and another 592 customers without power in Wayne. Craven County has some 307 homes in the dark, and Pamlico County with 136. Progress Energy says 167 customers are without power in Duplin County.

Trees are reported down in Hyde County, in Fairfield.

Trees are reported down in the Beaufort County town of Blounts Creek.

Trees are reported down on Morris Landing Road in Holly Ridge in Onslow County.

Tree limbs are reported down on Neuse Boulevard near Bayboro in Pamlico County.

Hail has been reported in several counties, including Pitt, Wayne, Craven and Duplin counties.

Power lines are reported down near Kinston in Lenoir County, between Fallen Creek Road and Highway 258.

Law enforcement in Wayne County say there are multiple trees down near Highway 222 and Hooks Road in Fremont.

There was wind damage and hail in northern Greene County on US Hwy 258 at Lizzie Crossroads. Several large trees down and penny sized hail.
