A Dare County woman has been arrested for stealing thousands of dollars from a community center.

A Dare County woman has been arrested for stealing thousands of dollars from a community center.
Officials tell us 43 year old Patricia Austin of Wanchese is expected to appear in court Wednesday, that's after being arrested Tuesday for allegedly embezzling more than $61,000 from the Wanchese Community Center.
Austin has been charged with five counts of Felony Embezzlement of Funds by Public Officers and Trustees.
Her bond is set at $10,000.

let me see she stole $61000 but the bond is for $10000. sounds like we all need to try it.

Patricia, we are all well aware that you owned it, you can keep your excuses and that overused line. More than most folks? Most folks are not criminals that steal from innocent people.
