A woman is injured after the sports utility vehicle she was driving flipped along Highway 17 in Craven County. Rescue crews had to use the Jaws of Life to pull the woman from wreckage near Vanceboro around 9:30 Thursday morning. Troopers say the driver ran off the road, over corrected, crossed the center line and flipped the vehicle. Traffic was stopped for about 45 minutes as crews worked to clear the wreck. No one else was hurt. There's no word on the woman's condition. Troopers say she has been charged with exceeding safe speed and driving left of center.
