UPDATED: Pedestrian Killed In Martin County
State troopers say the accident happened around 10:40 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 125 and Fort Branch Road in Hamilton.

A pedestrian was killed Thursday morning after being hit by a vehicle in Martin County.
State troopers say the accident happened around 10:40 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 125 and Fort Branch Road in Hamilton.
Killed as Bennie Roberson of Oak City. Troopers say Willie Outlaw was traveling west on Fort Branch Road when his vehicle veered off the right side of the road and struck the 73-year-old man.
Troopers say they are still investigating the accident and have not filed any charges yet.
