Silver Alert Cancelled For Missing Couple
The Silver Alert for Richard and Marilyn Pittman, who left Carteret County Monday morning and headed to their daughter's home in Surf City, has been cancelled.

The Silver Alert for Richard and Marilyn Pittman, who left Carteret County Monday morning and headed to their daughter's home in Surf City, has been cancelled.

Officials say the two were lost for about 13 hours, but finally made it to Surf City around 9 p.m. Monday night.

I agree. They should not be driving. And if the daughter knew of their dementia, why in the world did she let them? Duh?!?!?! What did you expect to happen to them. Shes just lucky that they are safe.

Glad they are back, but for their own safety and well being, they don't need to be by themselves driving if even driving at all.

I think the time has come to take the license. I know it's one of the hardest things to ever have to do, but you have to think of their safety and that of others. I'm glad they are safe now.
