Two men are in jail after deputies say a woman was the victim of a drive-by shooting.

David Behrens and Jordan Weil, both of Richlands, are charged with five counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, discharging a weapon into an occupied property and conspiracy to commit a felony.

It happened just before midnight on Quail Lane in Richlands. Onslow County deputies say the two men had been in an argument earlier that evening with the victim's son. They are accused of driving through the woman's front yard and firing several shots from their vehicle. One of those shots struck the woman in her left leg.

Weil's bond has been set at $180,000, while Behrens' was set at $215,000.

Why even have a bond set? Their intentions were to kill. Two more death penalty inductees.
