The no smoking on hospital grounds policy has been in effect at Pitt County Memorial Hospital since last May but is it working? Officials say yes. The hospital realizes smoking is hard to kick so they are offering free classes at Viquest to help any employee or resident looking to quit. And once folks take the classes, hospital officials say the majority are able to kick the habit. To take part in the free classes just call the Viquest Center at 252-847-6501.
