A holiday shopper received a special Thanksgiving gift this weekend from two nurses from Dunn... her life.
\Melissa Phillips and Kim Cox came up to Raleigh on Friday to hit the sales at a mall. They were heading into a shoe store when they saw a woman collapse outside. The nurses realized the woman wasn't breathing and had no pulse, so they performed chest compressions and rescue breathing for 15 minutes until an ambulance arrived.
Mall officials called late that night to tell them the woman survived.
Cox and Phillips went ahead with their shopping, and the shoe store manager gave them their purchases for free. But the two say the best part is knowing that a stranger will be able to celebrate another holiday with her family.
