Five armed robberies and one aggravated assault; it all happened over the weekend in Greenville. Lawmen say the first incident happened Friday night around 11 p.m. on Heath Street in Greenville, when two men armed with a shot gun approached two people and demanded money. The second incident happened just a few hours later at a Kangaroo Mart on South Memorial Drive. Authorities say two men robbed the clerk at gunpoint. A second Kangaroo Mart was robbed at on Greenville Boulevard around 4:50 a.m. Saturday and it doesn't stop there. Another armed robbery and aggravated assault occurred at the Pirate's Cove Saturday night at 9:30, where police say a male victim was assaulted and robbed. Four hours later lawmen say ten males approached a 20-year-old man, again at Pirate's Cove, four of which police say assaulted him and stole his cellphone. An armed robbery also took place on Cedar Street on a fitness path where a 34-year-old female was robbed. Authorities have not told us if any of these crimes are related.
