Steven Spielberg remembers his childhood home as his first movie set. Sugar Ray Leonard remembers how his parents gave him a fighting chance. Those are a couple of the memories shared in a new book edited by 2004 Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards. The book, titled “Home: The Blueprints of Our Lives,” is a coffee-table collection of mini-memoirs about childhood homes. It is due for release on Tuesday.
Edwards mixes stories from both cultural icons and average citizens and opens the book with some of his own childhood recollections.
Edwards is considering another run at the Oval Office. He begins a nationwide book tour on Wednesday that includes stops in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina -- all key states in the presidential nominating process.
