A 66-year-old Lumberton man is recovering in the hospital after being attacked by three pit bulls earlier this week.
James Jones was found in his backyard on Monday after the attack. He had more than 150 bites and other injuries. Jones' daughter, Annette, says doctors had to repair one ear and that her father had several hours of surgery.
Animal control officials say dogs have been seized and are being held at the Robeson County pound until an investigation has been completed.
The dogs belonged to Jones' neighbor who was renting a mobile home from Jones. Annette Jones says her father will be in the hopsital for at
least two weeks.
