Candidates and elections boards have been preparing for Election Day for some time, but are the voters ready or even interested? If the early numbers are an indication, voters in Craven County are interested. Some are even finished voting. Elections officials say about 8,000 early voters visited polls or mailed in their ballots this year. That number is up from the previous non-presidential election numbers. Craven County voter and New Bern resident Pauletta Brown in among those early voters, and says the responsibility falls on each of us to be a part of this important process. Polls will be open for voters Tuesday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Be sure to watch WITN for coverage all day and results in the evening and at eleven.
