Chances are you know someone who has experienced breast cancer, or even died because of it. A commemoration, the "Bells of Remembrance," was held at the Craven County Health Department Wednesday to honor victims, survivors and all affected by breast cancer. Hundreds of names adorned the lobby wall as part of the ceremony to raise awareness of breast cancer and encourage women, especially those with family histories of breast cancer, to get a breast exam. The Craven County Health Department is offering a free breast and cervical cancer awareness program. You can call 636-4920 for more information.
